**Location & Access:**
Located in Marianna on Caverns Road near US 90, Yancey Bridge provides convenient access to the Chipola River in Jackson County. From I-10, take SR 71 north, then US 90 west, followed by SR 166 north (signage points toward Florida Caverns State Park). The ramp features a steep paved incline leading to the launch area on the southwest side of the US 90 Bridge. Note that a deep drop-off exists just beyond the immediate access zone.
**Facilities & Amenities:**
This modest launch includes a side dock specifically designed for kayak launching, making it popular with paddlers and canoeists. The parking area is surrounded by woods and typically sees light traffic, offering a quieter atmosphere than busier commercial areas. The facility also serves as a low-key spot for overnight boondocking along the river.
**Note:** The City of Marianna has completed or planned improvements to the landing, so conditions may have been upgraded in recent years. Paddlers should confirm current access conditions before visiting, particularly after any closure periods for renovations.
