Yellow Creek State Park

Yellow Creek State Park offers a concrete boat ramp facility (20 feet wide) providing access to Yellow Creek Lake, a 720-acre impoundment in Indiana County, PA. The ramp is ADA accessible and located at Penn Run. Multiple launch points are available throughout the park, including options at the north shore, south shore, beach/day-use area, and Grampa's Cove, giving paddlers and boaters flexibility in choosing their access point.

The lake welcomes all watercraft types, including kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats (up to 20 hp permitted). Yellow Creek Lake offers good fishing opportunities for bass and trout in the main lake, with the tributary creeks—Yellow Creek, Little Yellow Creek, and Laurel Run—providing excellent stocked brown and brook trout fishing. Beyond water activities, the park features mountain bike trails along both shores and offers accessible fishing at Dragonfly Pond.
