The Yuba State Park-Painted Rock boat ramp provides access to the scenic Sevier River and Yuba Lake. This access site is located on the Levan side of the reservoir, about 5 miles from the main Yuba State Park area.
While the Painted Rocks boat ramp is currently closed, boaters can still access the water by launching at the Oasis boat ramp within the park. The Sevier River feeding into Yuba Lake is a sizable waterway, offering opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. Visitors should be aware that the lake level can fluctuate, and water access to the Painted Rocks area may be limited when levels are low.
Before visiting, it's recommended to check the Utah State Parks website for the latest updates on open boat ramps, campgrounds, and lake conditions. A day-use fee is required to enter Yuba State Park, which can be purchased in person or online. The park's Annual Utah State Park Pass is also accepted for entry.
