Description
From Gordon Dalton You can see this short run from roadside. The first drop is a slightly tilted waterfall immediately after exiting a tunnel under Hwy. 160. The LZ abruptly trickles into some shallow, woody rapids which go for about 100 yards before falling over a second, vertical 20-footer. Take-out after that drop, scramble back to the vehicle, and continue on to your next adventure. PUT-IN: Highway 160 makes a sharp hairpin turn just North of the Treasure Falls turnout. Put-in above the culvert where Hwy. 160 crosses Wolf Creek. There is a little drop right above the tunnel that is runnable. TAKE-OUT: After the second waterfall. Runs above this section, and down to the West Fork have apparently been made (reports are of log choked class V). (The lat/longitude coords of the takeout are approximate.) !!!NOT JUST A HIKE OUT, pretty bad scree field after the second 20fter. -Cody Howard
