short run with a couple of good rapids and one logistics problem; limited access and parking at Buck Dam. There is a very long portage path around the dam on river right if you plan to take out at the public access at Ivanhoe. Put In: from US94(Ivanhoe Rd) go E on 602  (Byllesby Rd) 3 mi then N on Buck Dam Rd 100 yd Take Out: river left above the dam on Buck Dam Rd, a narrow dirt road, there is no good place to park. take out option; a very long portage around the dam river right, then take out at the public access at Ivanhoe. from US94 go E on Trestle Rd .5 mi then take an immediate left after you pass under old RR trestle now part of New River Trail.
