Put in at the 1000 East bridge for the best ratio of braids to rapids. Best scenery and whitewater are where the river wraps around a rocky point for a few miles.
You can take out just after the Highway 32 bridge on river right. There is a pullout and short trail before the pay station to get into the state park.
