Description
This is a mellow float with few specific hazards, except for logjams typically on the outside of the bends.  As you approach Uravan and the confluence, the gradient picks up and the rapids get a little more character. You can road scout most of this section with few surprises.

As of May 2019 there is a designated, signed boat launch at Naturita Town Park. There is also an unimproved boat launch at Uravan Ball Park before the Dolores confluence for a shorter float (13 miles Naturita-Uravan).
