This is a quick easy shuttle along Hwy. 63.  There is a large gravel parking area at the putin at the intersection of 63 and Fort Spring Rd. where the river makes a 90 degree turn to the left.  From here take 63 west to Alderson.  The action ends before Alderson so you may want to use one of the informal pull-offs where the highway is close to the river.
