Description
Access: To reach the river, go to Highway 410 mile 88.4, turn onto Bumping River Road and cross the American River. You can access the Bumping River at the confluence with the American at American Forks Campground or continue a short distance upstream to Cedar Springs Campground. To reach the put-in, continue up the road to Bumping Crossing at mile 9.7 or go a short distance further and turn onto the access road that heads over to the base of the dam. Description: This river cuts through a shifting channel which means that in some years there are significant wood hazards.
