The first drop below the dam out of Vilas pool is a rather friendly-looking six-foot drop over a
rocky ledge. Then levels to a Class II through to Drewsville Gorge, which is a V-VI stenotic twist,
with a 12-ft drop in the middle, often jammed with logs. Permission is an issue portaging the
gorge.
The gauge is located at the takeout of Section 2. The flow range is an estimate based on the 75th percentile. If you run the Cold please leave comments with more beta and feedback on the flow range.
