3) Cottonwood Road to Hwy 95 (8.8 miles)

Scenic section that starts in the Gulf Mountain Wildlife Management Area with some nice rapids scattered about and a set of nice surfing ledges. Includes a historic wooden suspension bridge. Flows mostly through private land. Alternate access point is at Low Gap Road (County Road 9) Permission from the landowner at Bear Hole Hollow Farm must be obtained prior to using this location as a take out or put in. Do not drive through the gate onto the property. Drag your boats in/out instead. This can provide a 5-mile run down to Hwy 95 or the take out for extended run on the Upper section.
