Description
Enos to 72 Description from Eric Adsit Beta from Dec. 3, 2011 @ 1050 cfs From the bridge, the whitewater eases into class III and makes a left hand bend. Here you are faced with a horizon line. The left side is made up of more distinguished ledges, while the right creates a sort of flume/flush along a vertical wall and over a large pourover. Both lines are viable, but a scout from the bridge is advised. After this, class III continues around the bend to the right before returning to flatwater. After a mile or two of slowly moving water and riffles, more boulder gardens appear. These continue for several hundred yards before bending to the left and ending in a large moving pool above Crandall’s Falls. It’s worth a scout. We took out immediately after this and walked up an atv trail, past a house, and along a dirt road to our parked car. This is the Crandall’s Falls Road, and cuts a mile or 2 of flatwater off the total trip. It’s a rough road, and probably not accessible in the spring, so bring a vehicle with some ground clearance!
