Bent Creek to Hominy Creek

Bent Creek to Hominy Creek takes paddlers past the Biltmore House and estate, in a close-to-home flat-water run for Asheville. And it ends at a bar. Expect to have to make a few simple moves to avoid bridge pilings and rocks, but generally just go with the flow. Suitable for nearly all river craft. There is no opportunity to get off the water before the takeout, so plan for the full run. Rafts and other slow boats will take 3 or more hours, a fast run in a sea kayak can be done in under an hour.
