Description
Class II rating based on a recommendation from Dave Garrity.   BLM reports that summer flows are generally between 200 and 800 cfs.  They do not recommend boating at flows below 100 cfs.  The fishing is reported to be very good. Put in: There appears to be plenty of parking and river access on either side of the Government Dam Road bridge. Take out: Cutthroat Campground is off of Blackfoot River Rd. on the south side of the river.  There is easy river access.
