Description
Ed Evangelidi shared:
The Q is a nice but short run that starts slow and lets you warm up. Once in the rapids section you have pools between the rapids but the run is fairly continuous & has a number of solid Cl 2 rapids packed into a few miles. The steepness of the valley hides most of the ugly mining scenery nearby and the highway crossing is way overhead and not much of a bother either. Stop in at the historical park at the put-in & just before the takeout look around for nesting geese if you are there in spring.
