Description
This reach contains big rocks, big slides, and big holes. Big fun for the right boaters at the right levels, but awesome and scary to most others. While there are no big vertical falls, the action is nonetheless, well, BIG! There is a NOAA gauge on this river, but we are unable to link to it, and we have no familiarity with what the runnable levels would be. Can anyone help us out? Beaver River (MN) Near Beaver Bay Note: The big slide upstream of (and visible from) Hwy 61 terminates in pothole. The only known attempted run resulted in broken bones.
