Description
This scenic 10.4 mile run is the upper most section of the Cumberland River, starting on the end of the Martins Fork at the former confluence of the Clover Fork. It Passes through the Army Corps Flood Diversion Tunnels and the post 1992 confluence of the Clover Fork to then meet the Poor Fork in Baxter. You will pass under multiple historic rail bridges form the early 20th century as well as a couple swinging foot bridges. This run Is mainly class I with one Class II rapid about a mile before the take out. Stay river right and follow the current to avoid the scatted rocks.
