Description

This creek dumps in about a half mile above Roostertail Rapid on the Broad River. For those looking to do some high-water play on the Broad, putting in on Skull Shoal Creek looks to be the best option. Putting on Skull Shoal puts you in between the two best rapids, and eliminates most of the flatwater on the Broad. The creek has numerous ledges and small boulder gardens. It takes some good rain to make this one run.
