Do not confuse with Saline in Howard County. Quick Facts: Location: Central AR, approximately 21 miles SW from Little Rock. Put-in elevation is approximately 363'. Take-out elevation is approximately 253'. Thus total elevation change is approximately 110', or 4.6 ft/mile Information (lat, long, elev, total drop, run length) updated primarily using Google Earth, Feb 2022. Access Information as of February, 2022: Hwy 5 Access, Mile 0. Limited to zero parking, several 'no parking' signs along public right-of-way. Lat/Long 34.6161, -92.7491 Moore Ford, Mile 10.3. First recommended put. Private land but not posted. Lat/Long 34.5606, -92.6882 Tony Kelly crossing, Mile 12.1. No public parking. Suggest for Emergency use only, or when car may be moved immediately after dropping off paddlers and boats.  Lat/Long 34.5844, -92.6938 Peeler Bend, Mile 16.6. AGFC Public access boat ramp. Lat/Long 34.5852, -92.6467 Low Bridge, Mile 19.0. Passable at low to medium levels, portage at high levels. Lat/Long 34.5852, -92.6193 Lyle Park, Mile 20.5. Benton City Park with AGFC boat ramp, good parking. Lat/Long 34.5873, -92.6051 Low water dam at Mile 22.0. Portage at some levels, approach with caution and scout.
