Description

The most difficult rapids on this section are shortly after the put in, up to class II just before the first bridge crossing. From the bridge down the river gets much easier, mostly quickwater alternating with a few class I rips. There is a new gauge for this section. No observations have been made yet to help correlate flow to runnability. If you are in the area or run this section please report any beta in a comment below. Previously the Ossipee River NHDES gage was used for levels on this section. Minimum 500 cfs. Lake Ossipee is drawn down in the fall and usually brings the river up to 800 cfs.
