Description
Darnell Creek is a nice little mountain stream with ledges, overhanging trees, and some SICK waterfalls.
The creek itself is runnable with much less water than might be expected from the run out downstream. Just drive up and look at the rapids to determine if they are running. I believe access upstream of the 1 mile point is possible with a high clearance vehicle.
The falls are one sick set of drops. Don't just drop into the big stuff blind. If you make the first drop by boofing left off a slide into the pool above the falls you are essentially committed to running all of the drops. This is serious steep creeking.
