Description
Fed by 2 lakes, this reach takes longer to run and runs longer than everything else in the area.
Starting on the Bog River with 4 miles of flatwater ending with a dam, the run gets tight quickly. There are a number of Class 4 ledges, more flatwater and then a series of Class 4+ to Class 5 drops. From here it will be pretty flat until the finale at Bog River Falls which dumps into Tupper Lake at the takeout.
See the _New York Exposed Volume 1_ for the full description.
Find Route 421. It is between the towns of Tupper lake and Long Lake and splinters off Route 30.
Take 421 west towards Horseshoe Lake. The road will make a 90\* turn left and then go over a bridge. This is your **Takeout**
Continue up 421. It will snake around the South shore of Horseshoe Lake. As it begins to turn right (North) there will be a turn on your left. Turn left onto Circle Road. **Put in** where it ends at the bridge.
