Put in accessed by taking Hwy 215 from I-40 at Mulberry North to USFS Shores Lake. Put in below the dam. The run can be just 1 mile by taking out on dirt road prior to confluence with the Mulberry. Otherwise continue (for a run-total of 9 miles) to the Hwy 215 access on the Mulberry near I-40. Listed gradient of 40 fpm is just Hurricane Creek. There are no major hazards.
