Mark Paugh and Mark Hicks ran it a few years back at a lower flow, and I have heard of others running it in the early 00's. From what I know we were less than the 10th people on this creek and possibly the highest descent. This creek runs off pretty quickly so you better be in central Georgia when it is raining. Potato Creek was about 2.5' when we opted for Bell. We had time to two runs of the slides, go back to check Potato (did not drop a bit) and back to bell for one last lower-level lap. The crew also came down the next day and ran one more lap, but 'Dragonball Slide' surely lived up to its name, claiming copious plastic from under the seat...
There is one 5' boof to be hit before the main slide. We ran it just left of center. Immediately after we scraped down the shallow rock on the river right side to avoid the hole in the center of the flow above the drop into the slide. The hole could have been punched through, but appears that the water would shove you into a rock wall on river left as you are dropping into the slide.
The slide itself is straightforward. Enter from the eddy on the right after scraping down the shallow. T up the flow and ride the bumpy cruise all the way down. Central Ga roller coaster!! The hole at the bottom of the slide can be sticky and is very shallow, not somewhere you would want to be sideways or upside down.
Following the slide is 150' of class III boogie before approaching a ledge rapid with big boulders. I like to call this one 'Bilbo's Feet'... It's a little hairy, not too clean, but is fun, and gets the job done. We entered from the left side and squared up the hole on the bottom. You could enter from the right and drop a tighter slot next to the big boulder, but we did not.
