Description
You have to earn your turns on this one, that's right hiking up with your gear.  The bottom starts off as Class 3-4 and flattens out. From here the river is pool drop. Give up and put on whenever you want, but there are big slides all the way at the top. Of course you'll have to hike to the top of those too. From Exit 30 on Route 87 head towards Lake Placid. Go through malfunction junction, getting on 73. Look for a bridge and parking on the left in half a mile. Either walk up and return to your car, or drop another vehicle at Split Rock Falls so you can have the option of continuing on.
