Description
Steep. Scouting and portages necessary. Numerous large and dangerous drops with some ending in entrapment or physical destruction and/or pain. This is not for boaters who prefer placid runs like the Upper Yough, Big Sandy, Daugherty Run, Fike Run, etc. that are located in nearby vicinities. Bring a friend and a rope and do some hiking. Lower section is extremely steep and may be considered totally unrunnable by many. For those with adventuresome spirits and very good skills it is a fun lesson in technical lines. Enjoy. _Lat/longitude coordinates are a rough approximation._ For a detailed account of the latest attempt to run this creek along with a video, go to http://www.exploringelements.com/the-next-level-west-virginias-savage-indian-creek/
