Description
Data supplied by Jack Hession, Sierra Club, 241 E. 5th Ave, Suite 205, Anchorage, AK 99501 Class: V-VI According to Embick, this is a _very_ difficult run. He rates it as V++ at 175-200 cfs, V- with a portage at 300-350 cfs. "Suitable only for highly aggressive and technically very skilled kayakers in short plastic boats." He also says that you can avoid the section of greatest gnarl by taking the crummy Adeline Road by 4WD and then hiking upstream a couple miles.
