Description
Double Drop is a technical Class V waterfall rapid featuring two consecutive tight slot drops with powerful, retentive holes that demand precise boat positioning and aggressive paddling. Paddlers must nail a narrow entry line between exposed rocks, then immediately transition and punch through the second hole, which can easily back-surf or pin an unprepared kayak. Serious consequence potential exists for missed lines, with potential for violent recirculation and difficult self-rescue.
