Description

When you view a small foot bridge crossing the river with a couple of small buildings on the left , get out and portage the next drop. The river squeezes down to about 1-1/2 boat width then plunges 8 feet into a shallow rocky runnout. At higher levels you may be able to sneak on river right. Drop over a trashy 3' ledge, take a sharp left and immediately down another 4' slide that breaks to the left towards an overhanging ledge. Stay right here to avoid being stuffed under the ledge. Once you enter the main stream again take a hard right to avoid slamming into the left wall of the gorge.
