Description
A dangerous low-head dam creates a highly recirculating hydraulic that can trap and drown paddlers, with no clear escape route once caught in its uniform, powerful backwash. This terminal hydraulic spans the full width of the creek, presenting an absolute must-portage hazard for any watercraft, with extreme risk of entrapment and no safe line through or around the structure.
