Description
Mingus Mill Rapid presents a technical Class II challenge with a series of moderate boulder gardens and small ledge drops near the confluence with Mingus Creek. Paddlers should navigate carefully through the scattered rock formations, maintaining a clean line down the center-right channel to avoid potential pinning spots and maintain momentum through the broken water. While not extremely difficult, the rapid requires attentive maneuvering and good boat control to successfully negotiate its rocky terrain.
