Description
The Power Plant Low Head Dam presents an extremely dangerous hydraulic hazard that should be completely avoided by all paddlers. This terminal feature creates a deadly recirculating current that can trap and drown boaters, making a mandatory portage critical for survival. Paddlers must exit their craft well upstream and carry around the entire low head dam structure, carefully avoiding any potential water contact.
