Description

From roadside parking at Linwood Park (on Five Mile Road, just east of Hwy.38), carry to the river.

For a handful of years, there had been a small 'improved landing' about 100' upstream from Fivemile Road. However, high water events across the years have eroded the riverbank and all but obliterated the launch/landing spot. As a result, nearly all of the shore here has a foot or two of vertical drop to the water. Boaters with sprayskirts may be able to 'seal launch' from the grass. Others will struggle to find a spot they are comfortable launching from.
