Description

This is a significant narrowing (and thus deepening) of the waters. At low flows, expect no problems here. At high flows, expect major swirls, whirlpools, and upwellings of water.

If paddling when tour boats (and other motorized boats) are present, be prepared to deal with their wakes/waves. Stay as far from them as you can, then turn bow into the waves, being ready to brace. (MEET WAVES HEAD ON!)
