Description

Toby's Drop is a notorious Class VI rapid featuring a near-vertical 20-foot waterfall that lands in a narrow, rock-choked channel with multiple dangerous undercut walls and hydraulic traps. Successful navigation requires precise boat positioning, expert-level technical skills, and an extremely low water level, with minimal margin for error and potentially fatal consequences for any mistake. Experienced paddlers should scout thoroughly from both banks, identify the critical entry line, and be prepared for immediate rescue and medical support.
