Description
This Class III- rapid features a technical entry with a series of sharp rocks and diagonal waves that require precise maneuvering. Paddlers should focus on avoiding the undercut boulder on river right and navigating the moderate center channel, which offers the cleanest line but demands careful boat positioning and quick eddy turns. At medium to high water levels, the rapid can develop more pronounced hydraulics that can quickly push boats towards hazardous features.
