About This Access Site
Bender Landing is a quiet county park offering convenient access to the North Fork of the Siuslaw River near Florence, Oregon. The facility features a concrete boat ramp ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats into the Siuslaw Estuary Water Trail. Located just off North Fork Road, it serves as a popular put-in point for paddlers exploring the calm river environment and estuary system. A day-use fee is required, which can be paid via smart phone app.

The landing provides a good starting point for recreational paddling and fishing on the Siuslaw River. Several other boat ramps are available in the area along the North Fork and main Siuslaw River if you need alternatives. If you're planning to camp nearby, South Jetty Sand Camping, Tyee Campground, and Waxmyrtle Campground are all within 10 miles of the landing (note that Tyee Boat Ramp is currently closed). Before visiting, confirm current conditions and access status, as facilities and ramps may change seasonally.
