This section of the Broad River is part of the larger J. Strom Thurmond Lake system, offering 48 miles of navigable water with a mix of calm stretches and Class I-II rapids.
The boat ramp is located directly off Highway 17 and provides ample parking for vehicles and trailers. Nearby amenities at the Broad River Park and Campground include dump stations, electrical hookups, a shower/bathhouse, campsites, and fish cleaning stations. An annual $40 park pass is required to access the facilities.
