Bullards Landing provides a simple concrete boat ramp for accessing the Ocmulgee River in central Georgia. This remote access site is located off Bullard Road, about 10 minutes west of I-16 exit 18.
The Ocmulgee River in this area is a wide, slow-moving waterway typical of the Georgia Piedmont region. Its calm waters and mild current make it well-suited for kayaking, canoeing, and small motorized boats. However, paddlers should be aware of occasional debris and downed trees in the river, especially during high water.
Beyond the boat ramp, there are no other facilities at Bullards Landing. Visitors should come prepared with everything they need, as there are no restrooms, shelters, or services nearby. Due to the remote location, it's also wise to avoid leaving valuables in unattended vehicles. Those seeking a more developed access point may want to explore other Ocmulgee River launch sites further upstream or downstream.
