About This Access Site
Catherine's Landing is a boat ramp located on the Ouachita River in Garland County, Arkansas. The Ouachita River is a major waterway, spanning 548 miles with an average flow of over 27,000 cubic feet per second. This section of the river has a gentle 3 ft/mile gradient, making it suitable for a variety of watercraft.

The boat ramp provides direct access to the Ouachita River, allowing paddlers, canoeists, and motorized boaters to launch with ease. The ramp is a new concrete structure, recently improved by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, Montgomery County, and the Corps of Engineers. While specific amenities are not listed, the landing is located in close proximity to Gulpha Gorge Campground, as well as the attractions of Hot Springs National Park and Lake Ouachita.
