Clear Lake Campground offers a boat ramp and water access on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake in Kelseyville, California. This small, family-friendly campground is a convenient location for kayakers, canoeists, and small boat owners to launch and explore the lake and surrounding waterways.
The boat ramp provides access to Cache Creek, which connects Clear Lake to the Sacramento River system. Clear Lake is a large, natural freshwater lake known for its excellent bass fishing. In addition to bass, the lake and creek are home to catfish, crappie, and other warmwater species. Paddlers can explore the creek and lake, keeping an eye out for waterfowl and other wildlife along the way.
The campground offers limited parking for vehicles with boat trailers. Campers have the option to launch directly from the campground or use the boat ramp. Kayak and small boat rentals may be available on-site or nearby. Visitors should come prepared with their own safety gear and be aware of current water levels and conditions before heading out.
