The Deep River at this location is a large river (Stream Order 7) with an average flow of 1,545 cubic feet per second and moderate current of 2.8 feet/second. Paddlers can expect a relatively stable, meandering waterway suitable for recreational paddling. The river continues downstream to eventually meet the Haw River below B.
