About This Access Site
Dillon Falls provides a convenient boat launch into the Deschutes River near Sunriver, offering access to one of Oregon's premier paddling and boating destinations. The day-use area includes an on-site boat ramp, picnic tables, and restroom facilities. Note that motors are prohibited on the Deschutes River at this location, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and non-motorized boaters.

Beyond the water access, Dillon Falls serves as an excellent trailhead for exploring the scenic Deschutes River Trail system. The 0.3-mile accessible shoreline trail provides hiking opportunities, and the location connects paddlers to a broader network of river trails passing other notable waterfalls including Benham Falls and Lava Island Falls. Horse trailer parking is also available for those interested in equestrian access to the riverside trails.
