Faber Ferry South provides access to the Skagit River via a boat launch located on the south side of the river at the end of Skagit Ridge Road in Concrete, Skagit County. This Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) managed site offers a convenient put-in for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore this section of the river. Portable restrooms are available at the facility.
**Important notes for users:** Launch gates typically remain open around the clock, but may be locked during high water conditions (when river levels are forecast to reach 19 feet or higher) or if debris from recent flooding hasn't been cleared. Overnight and long-term parking are not permitted at the site. A companion boat launch (Faber Ferry North/John G Young Landing) is located on the north side of the river—access it by driving east from Concrete on SR-20 for approximately 5 miles, then turn right at the public fishing sign onto Faber Road.
