Located at the end of Farm Street near downtown, the site features a boat ramp on the downstream left side. Access is open from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset for fishing and launching non-motorized watercraft. The park is managed by the City of Bastrop; for details, contact (512) 321-3957.

The Colorado River in this section is a major waterway with an average flow of approximately 2,220 cubic feet per second and moderate current velocity of 7.75 feet per second.
