The Flatrock River is a scenic, slow-moving waterway that flows approximately 88 miles through central Indiana before joining the Driftwood River to form the East Fork of the White River at Columbus. The river's gentle character makes it well-suited for recreational paddling by kayaks and canoes. This access point serves as one of two primary launch locations for paddling trips on the river, making it an ideal starting point for one-way or exploratory paddles. Paddlers should verify current water conditions and check for any specific regulations before launching.
