**Location & Access:** Lava Point is located at Magic Resort on Magic Reservoir in Blaine County, Idaho. To reach the ramp, take State Highway 75 south from the US Highway 20 intersection for 3.5 miles, then turn west on E Magic Reservoir Road and continue 4.6 miles to the east boat ramp area.
**Conditions & Suitability:** This boat ramp accommodates kayaks, canoes, and other non-motorized watercraft, as well as motorized boats and sailboats. **Important note:** The ramp has experienced accessibility issues due to low water levels, and recent improvements have included ramp repairs and the addition of floating dock sections. Check current conditions before visiting, as water levels can significantly impact launch viability. Magic Reservoir is a popular, well-developed recreational area with multiple access points around the reservoir.
**Nearby Resources:** The site sits within a recreation area offering semi-developed camping and nearby commercial facilities with accommodations and RV services. Additional paddling and recreation options are available at nearby Thorn Creek Reservoir (suitable for non-motorized watercraft) and Croy Creek Recreation Area to the west.
