**Location & Facilities**
Leaburg Landing provides a gravel boat ramp and bank access to the McKenzie River below Leaburg Dam in Lane County. This practical access point is located in Leaburg, Oregon, and serves as a popular put-in for the middle section of the McKenzie River. The site is recognized by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife as one of 65 premier fishing locations in Lane County.
**For Paddlers & Boaters**
This access point works well for kayakers and canoeists looking to paddle Class II–III whitewater downstream. The McKenzie below Leaburg Dam features approximately 10 miles of moderate rapids with a gradient of 17.5 feet per mile. Optimal paddling conditions occur at flows between 900–3,000 cfs (measured at the Vida gauge downstream). The river corridor offers scenic beauty and diverse wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the paddling season, which runs year-round. Boaters should check current water levels before launching and be prepared for the technical sections typical of this stretch of the McKenzie.
