About This Access Site
The Rumford boat ramp provides convenient access to the Androscoggin River in western Maine. This recently completed facility features a 20-foot concrete launch ramp suitable for both trailered and hand-carry boats, along with concrete abutments and a dedicated parking area. The ramp is designed to accommodate kayaks, canoes, and small motorized vessels launching onto the main stem of the Androscoggin River.

Paddlers can explore the river in both upstream and downstream directions from this access point, though paddling opportunities are somewhat limited in the immediate vicinity.
