About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
Water Street Landing is conveniently located in downtown Brunswick, just off Route 1 on Water Street, providing direct access to the Androscoggin River below the Brunswick dam. The ramp is situated at the end of Water Street, to the left of the bollards at the beginning of the Androscoggin River Bicycle Path. This site accommodates larger trailered watercraft and offers adequate parking for vehicles with boat trailers.

**Paddling Conditions & Take-Out**
Paddlers should be aware that this is a dam-controlled section of the river. When taking out, stay to the right side of the river as you approach the Pejepscot dam downstream, and paddle through the slot in the barrier on the far right. From there, you can haul your boat up over the rocks and grass to your vehicle. The central downtown location makes this an accessible launch point for day trips on the Androscoggin, though paddlers should plan their trips with the dam locations and any water releases in mind.
